We are proud to invite you to join us for a symposium to discuss the importance of Eco-tourism in Hawaii.
As a result of the Hawaiian Islands formation by volcanic activity, there are many native species only endemic to Hawaii; some call Hawaii a treasure-trove for ecotourism.
More than 400 species are registered as endangered and to protect these dwindling natural treasures many feel that we need to embrace ecotourism. Many people come to Hawaii from all over the world, yet it cannot be said that many visitors come for eco-tourism.
“The Ecotourism Symposium in Hawaii” will be held as a part of the Honolulu Festival. The goal of this symposium are to introduce those involved in Hawaii’s tourism industry to ecotourism materials to encourage an increase in the number of Eco-tourists in Hawaii from all parts of the world. We feel that with the participation of well-known speakers, a keynote address and a panel discussion, you will be glad you joined us for such a substantial symposium.
